🇯🇵 On Islington’s famous (S)Upper Street you can find this authentic little family-run restaurant serving up some of the best Japanese food this side of Osaka. The staff are so welcoming. And the location makes you feel like you’ve just spent a day walking Tokyo’s streets. The menu is extensive to say the least. You can pick from sashimi, sushi, tempura, teriyaki, katsu, curry, donburi, noodles and bento boxes. As I said, a proper authentic experience.

🥢 But what they are best know for is their Okonomiyaki - a Japanese cabbage pancake that will blow your mind. We got a vegetable one and a prawn one, but honestly any of the choices will be a winner. Just watch it as the okonomiyaki are massive and should probably be split one between two unless you’re giving your stomach a night to remember ;) One more tip - treat yourself to one of their sake tasting flights as they are both yummy and generous, definitely worth it 🤤
