Battersea Power Station

London’s latest new-fangled design district has finally opened and we’ve been down there to check it out. Centred around the gorgeously decadent Battersea Power Station it’s not just the inside of this beautiful building that has been refurbished, but the entire surrounding area. You can find dozens of new restaurants (Roti King!), an ice rink, a Christmas fair, loads of entertainment including a theatre and cinema, events every day of the week and a beautiful view of the Thames. There’s plenty to keep you busy.

As for the inside of the building itself: not all the shops are open yet, and foot traffic isn’t very high, so the open spaces feel a bit spartan and empty, but we’re sure that given time it will fill up and have a great vibe, these things take time especially with a location at the end of a tube line. In the meantime the shops that are open have amazing customer service with everyone very excited about the new new :) :) To make the trip worth it, book a spot on the Lift 109 to take you up one of the chimneys to get some amazing views of the city from a unique perspective.
