Mayfield Lavender Farm
Probably one of the most well-known images of London is from the Mayfield Lavender Farm with its beautifully photogenic purple fields of lavender. Actually just a short train and bus ride from London Bridge it’s pretty easy to get to. Just make sure the weather is good ;) Once there you can chill out as you wander around their four huge fields planted with multiple different types of lavender.

Depending on when you visit, the fields will be in different states of harvesting, so it’s quite cool to see it change over the summer, but you’ll always have some beautiful spots. And remember that the farm is seasonal so only open in the summertime. Also, another tip, no picnics allowed! But don’t fret as there is food aplenty, and plenty of lavender-themed delights from lavender lemonade to lavender biscuits and a lovely looking lavender afternoon tea.
