Leila’s Shop
Sometimes all you need in life is a big ol’ hug of nostalgic comfort food. And this is exactly what you’ll get with Leila’s Shop, a beautiful kooky little gem of an eatery hidden away down a shaded tree-lined avenue away from the hustle and bustle of Shoreditch. The menu changes every day so you never know what you’ll get but you can be sure it’ll hit the right spot whatever is there.

On our latest trip we had a pork pie with piccalilly & radishes as well as a courgette galette with parmesan & tomatoes, both served with cucumbers and a green salad. The dishes are simple. And this is a massive positive. The ingredients are so fresh and juicy. The flavours combine perfectly. Everything just works. Oh and leave room for dessert and they always knock it out of the park - we had a cherry clafouti with cream this time round but honestly could’ve easily eaten everything on the menu, mmmmmmmmmm……
