Valderrama’s
From the brilliant mind of James Cochran, food maestro of 12:51 fame, comes something a little bit leftfield. A retro sports bar serving frickin’ great fried chicken. Named after Carlos Valderrama, yes, the Colombian guy with the insanely awesome hair, the space is a homage to the golden era of ‘90s football, mullets, bad taches, and multi-coloured kits, when everything was just hmmmm better, or maybe that’s just our nostalgia talking.

As expected, the food is perfect for the venue. Crispy fried chicken burgers you’ll struggle to get your mouth around, more tasty jerk-spiced fries than any normal person ever needs, and hash browns that would be at home as a side to any self-respecting New Orleans gumbo. But honestly, those burgers, oooooff, really yummy, but oh so much food. We’re still full 24hrs later! Beware: belts will be loosened ;)
