The Barbary
Iconic food experience.
Hidden away in one of London’s cutest little corners, Neal’s Yard, is one of the city’s very best restaurants. The Barbary has consistently been the top of every hitlist for years now and there’s no surprise. The restaurant itself is all counter-seating surrounding the kitchen which makes for some excellent people-watching as you sit mesmerised by the chefs cooking all the delicious foods.
Serving up North African cooking (inspired by the Barbary Coast) you will be enjoying some incredibly tasty dishes. And most of the dishes are based on FIRE. Whether it’s from land (chicken shwarma or pata negra), sea (black salmon or octopus) or earth (cauliflower or grilled halloumi), it all tastes better when charred and spiced up.
Tip of the day: Two for the price of one. 1/ The breads are insane. Particularly the Jerusalem Bagel. Get like 17 of these with all the dips and you can die happy. 2/ The best way to order is just to watch what the chefs are cooking and then tell them to add whatever catches your eye to your order. Never fails :)
