Home of Portobello Road Gin, The Distillery in Notting Hill is already a fantastic location to hit just for a gin & tonic in the evening with some friends. Yet hidden away away from the bar is one of London’s best experiences. The Ginstitute Experience teaches you the history, the techniques, and the botanicals involved in the making of gin.
Plus you then get to make your own gin. There are dozens of different pre-prepared extracts that you can infuse into their base gin. Of course the Gin Instructor will help you make the correct decisions and point you in the right direction. Not only do you get to take this home but it also sits on their system so if you want to remake it in the future you just need to let them know and they can make it for you. Not a bad deal!
Tip of the day: Best ingredient for you gin, get ready, is Cassia Bark. Use sparingly but tends to give your gin a cinnamon-esque flavour that is to die for.
