Dans Le Noir
As far as unusual London experiences go, this one probably sits pretty high up on the list. How would you feel about a classy French bistro meal, the perfect date night, except it’s completely in the dark. You can’t take your phone in, or any other gadget that might give off light. You’re led into the restaurant area through blackout curtains, guided by their blind waiters. That’s right, all their waiters are blind so they are much better at this than you.

You’re sat at your table, told where your cutlery and glass are, and that’s it. Your meal is brought to you but you have no idea what it is. Is that lamb? Beef? Surely not chicken? Afterwards you find out it was duck. Was that dessert a chocolate cake? Nope, that’s an banoffee pie. It’s crazy how much you rely on sight when eating. But it’s incredibly fun and we couldn’t recommend it enough. Everyone has to experience this.
