Slow Richie’s
In a town where burger joints are a dime a dozen it’s great to find one that makes you double-take. This wee place is hidden down a little passageway next to a raucous pub but don’t let that fool you. It’s an absolute pleasure of a gem. Friendly staff, great tunes, and tastalicious food make me all sorts of happy.

But let’s talk about the burgers - personally there’s only one option for me, the Haggis Beef. This beaut makes the crazy decision to top a delicious patty with Scotland’s best invention. 100% yes. Couldn’t get enough of it. They also have a Classic Beef (with honey-glazed pulled pork and lime!) and a Black Beef (with black pudding and hot sauce mmm). Maybe some fries (or a chip butty?) on the side. Top it off with a beer from the nearby Brick Brewery and you’re winning. Yeah, a return visit is definitely on the cards here.
