Islington is definitely the prime centre of London’s gastropub scene right now, with the likes of The Pig & Butcher and The Drapers Arms leading the way to show the rest of the city how to do pub food. And, after a recent renovation, The Baring is pushing those boundaries again with a gorgeous reinvention serving some fantastic dishes.
Tooting has long flown under the radar for most Londoners as a proper no nonsense place to hang on. No airs or graces here, just good people having a good time.
