This historic pub is the perfect stop-off point between Bethnal Green and Shoreditch, always seemingly a quick walk away from wherever you happen to be in East London. And when you know it’s from the same group as Exmouth Arms and Singer Tavern you know you’re into something good here. It’s the perfect combination of well restored old pub vibes combined with a kooky unhinged sort of modernity that just really works together.

It’s also one of those magical places that always seems to have a spare seat somewhere even when really busy which we definitely appreciate. And the vibe is always relaxed yet fun, until later on when it’s party mode and fun :) Plus on Sundays it’s all about the roasts here and they are definitely worth the trip, mmmmmmm.
