Brat was already one the best restaurants in London when they opened in the centre of Shoreditch a few years ago. But when they opened their second location at the exquisite Climpson’s Arch us Londoners really hit the jackpot.

Al fresco vibes in the summer, marquee cosiness in the winter, the atmosphere is fantastic all year round. The drinks menu is fantastic and the food menu is always changing and always banging.

Must eat: The whole turbot. Trust me, this is one of those dishes that you will be telling your grandkids about. And don’t forget to eat the cheeks, that’s where all the flavour’s at. Also, do yourself a favour and get yourself a bottle of Chin Chin to wash it down, a truly delicious easy-drinking white wine.
