Community Sauna Baths
We recently returned from a fantastic trip to Oslo, where sauna culture is huge. All Norwegians love to sauna. And we are now absolute converts to the sauna life too. The difficulty here in London is that saunas (and spas) are not the most affordable.
The Baring
Islington is definitely the prime centre of London’s gastropub scene right now, with the likes of The Pig & Butcher and The Drapers Arms leading the way to show the rest of the city how to do pub food. And, after a recent renovation, The Baring is pushing those boundaries again with a gorgeous reinvention serving some fantastic dishes.
Cone8
Who doesn’t enjoy getting a bit of creativity into their lives? Get those juices flowing at cone8, a lovely little pottery studio in the quieter recesses of Hackney Wick. Some might say it’s the perfect aperitif ahead of an awesome night out across the canal in the busier areas of The Wick.
Acme Fire Cult
Fire-obsessed culinary geniuses Acme Fire Cult have brought the heat to Dalston where they have set up sticks right next to (and in collaboration with) 40ft Brewery with their very first permanent location. Taking a leaf out of the very best BBQ techniques around and mixing in some interesting high-end flavours and ingredients, this is a really left-field experience.
Xmas Time @ Blues Kitchen
‘Tis the season! And you know what that means? ALLLLLLL the amazing foods to eat to your heart’s (and stomach’s) content. No guilt trips, no salads, just indulgence to the max. You’ve got a free pass! So to celebrate we headed over to crowd favourite The Blues Kitchen in Shoreditch for their newly released xmas burger, inspired by the best xmas movie ever - yes, you guessed it, Die Hard!

It’s not often that theatre can leave us speechless but this year My Neighbour Totoro has achieved just that. We were left with a huge smile on our face and created some beautiful core memories.
The Waterside Café
Regent’s Park is one of London’s most gorgeous, tranquil and charming parks. Whether it’s full-blown sunshine summertime or a sparkling frosty winter’s day, this is a fantastic place for a long leisurely walk. And the perfect spot to pause for a rest stop along your way is the new Waterside Café, in prime place right by the boating lake.
Battersea Power Station
London’s latest new-fangled design district has finally opened and we’ve been down there to check it out. Centred around the gorgeously decadent Battersea Power Station it’s not just the inside of this beautiful building that has been refurbished, but the entire surrounding area.
Sake Collective
SAKE COLLECTIVE is a bar and retail space in Shoreditch that specialises in sake and specialised Japanese drinks. They have the biggest selection of sake in the UK with over 108 offerings form 32 different breweries, in addition to some amazing sonchus, whiskies and gins.
The Big London Bake
If you’re in the 97% of people that are completely obsessed with The Great British Bake-Off then we’ve got a treat for you. The Big London Bake (which is absotively posolutely nothing to do with GBBO 👀) puts you in the spotlight in the bakers’ tent against a crowd of competitors all vying for the crown of star baker.

One of the best food markets in London can be found in Bermondsey and goes by the name of Maltby Street Market. However this awesome market is not only a food mecca for every self-respecting Londoner, but also the kick-off point for one of our very favourite pub crawls, the Bermondsey Beer Mile.

Hands up who would happily eat pasta every day for the rest of their lives? Yep, thought so. There is something so heavenly about Italian cooking and we can’t get enough of it. Forty Hall Vineyard
Sometimes the city becomes a bit too overwhelming and we crave getting back to nature, the outdoors, the fresh air on our faces. A short trip out of London gets you to Forty Hall Vineyard, a beautiful estate where flocks of geese wade through the waters, farm animals laze around their yards, and people can be seen meandering through the serene grounds.
